By the year 2369, Starfleet had introduced a new standard duty uniform. It consisted of a loose-fitting, two-piece black jumpsuit with division color on the shoulders, usually worn with an open collar over a purplish-gray mock-turtleneck shirt. Under the uniform jacket and shirt was an undershirt with the same bluish violet-gray of the mock turtleneck.
The combadge was worn on the left breast and underwent an update in the 2370s. The rank pips were on the right side of the collar.

By the early 2370s, the Starfleet cadet uniform was modified to distinguish it from the standard duty uniform.
Retaining the same basic shape and style of the previous design, the new uniform was now gray instead of black, with division colors on the shoulders. With this modification, all visible rank insignia were also removed.

The last version of the flag officer uniform from the previous style was retained while these uniforms were in use.
Flag officer's uniforms consisted of a long sleeved jacket, with black shoulders and a gold-trimmed closure running down the front. The ranks were displayed on the color and the sleeves within a wide, black cuff.
This version was ultimately retired from service in the year 2374.

By 2365, a new version of the dress uniform was available. It introduced rank insignia to the right shoulder and swapped the single gold braid for two narrower braids running parallel to each other (one gold, one silver), which together were the same thickness as the original.
The gold braids also no longer extended below the black material that covered the shoulders from the yoke upwards.

Available to officers serving aboard starships, these uniforms were worn during certain away missions if conditions warranted. They consist of tight-fitting gray jumpsuits, marked by a stripe of division color across the chest and worn with specialized boots with treads better suited to mountainous or more rugged terrain.

Similar in make to the excursion uniforms in use aboard starships in the 2370s, the training uniform was a gray, short-sleeved jumpsuit worn with specialized boots bearing enhanced treads. The uniform style lacked any rank insignia, noticeably in the collar area as the jumpsuit had an open neck. Female styles had a lower, but narrower open neck than their male counterparts. They were marked by a strip of division color running across the chest and down the sleeves.
These uniforms were used in situations in which increased physical activity warranted something less confining and more flexible than the standard uniform.

For situations that called for a Starfleet officer to serve in hazardous battle operations, a ground combat Uniform was available by 2373. Made of a harder, more durable substance than standard uniforms, the combat uniform consisted of a black, textured material with a thick line of division color running across the yoke. A black turtleneck was worn beneath the body armor.

Environmental suits were used for protection or life support in inhospitable environments. They were a white tight-fitting suit with a helmet and gloves. The life support unit consisted of a hard upper-torso body-shell, which was different for men and women.
This unit contained the essentials for survival: communication equipment, oxygen, EV controls, power supply, and again an extra oxygen hose that made it possible to share oxygen. Alerts were available visibly via the color-coded EV controls and also by audio. Under normal conditions, an EV suit would provide approximately twenty-four hours of oxygen.
